Guido von List died in Berlin, Germany. His place as Germany's leading mystic and Aryan visionary was taken by Yorg Lanz. Lanz had a profound impact on the development of Nazi ideology and on the structure and ritual of the future S.S. Lanz called his doctrine theozoology; an occult religion of race. Lanz proposed polygamy to increase the birth rate of the "racially purist." He wanted to use "chosen women" to produce children for pure blooded Aryan males.
