• Whales used to be in such abundance, that even if 100,000 whales were captured, there would be no adverse affect on whale populations. However, we now find ourselves in a situation where some species of whales no loner exist, including the Grey Whale, even the once prolific Blue Whale is now in severe danger.

• Our ravenous appetite for seafood has been the root cause for the excessive hunting of whales and other sea animals. Unless there is a dramatic change, many more aquatic species may never recover.
