• This tactic proved costly as back and forth firing would ensue. As the battle raged on, not only did the Union’s relative inexperience show through, but the Confederate armies replenished their front line on the fly thanks to multiple legions of bandits heeding the cause of the South assembling to help thwart the Union army.

• The tide would turn quickly, as a battle which seemed like a sure victory for the Union, quickly went the other way, as within minutes, Union soldiers were fleeing northward to escape the onslaught of a seemingly self-perpetuating Confederate army.
